The Oak Harbor Apple Festival is held in downtown Oak Harbor the second full weekend in October. This family friendly festival features a grand parade, baking contest, cornhole tournament, candy apple cutie contest, car show, 5K/Kids 1 Mile fun run, beer garden, local entertainment, mechanical rides, over 125 vendors and many other activities! Enjoy fresh apple butter, various apples, apple pies, apple dumplings, apple cookies and more! No admission fees, and ride the $1.00 shuttle from the high school parking lot. Merchants in Downtown Oak Harbor are ready to welcome hundreds of costumed kids with bowls full of candy and treats. Look for a sign in the windows of downtown businesses which indicate participation. The Oak Harbor Police Department will be joining us to provide pedestrian safety at crosswalks.The Downtown Trick-or-Treat is FREE to the public and will be held rain or shine on October 31st from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Neighborhood door-to-door trick-or-treating will be from 6:00-7:30pm that same night.
